Biography

 

Adam Korniszewski, violinist of Polish origin, was born in Geneva. He studied at the Warsaw State School of Advanced Musical Studies (prof.I.Dubiska ) and then under the direction of Professor André Gertler at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Hanover, the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels and the Chapelle Musicale Queen Elisabeth of Belgium. He accomplished his studies with several distinctions.

A prize-winner at the International Violin Competitions Niccolo Paganini in Genova, the Fondazione Alberto Curci in Naples and the Belgian Radio and Television in Brussels, he has performed as soloist with orchestra and has given numerous recitals in Belgium, Germany, Poland, France, Great Britain, Italy, Switzerland, Netherland, Spain, Greece, Austria, Hungary, Yugoslavia, United States and Canada. He has performed with conductors and renowned orchestras such as l'Orchestre National de la Philharmonie de Varsovie, l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Cracovie, das Symphonie Orchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, the Sinfonie-Orchester Berlin, l'Orchestre Symphonique du Théâtre Communal de Bologna, l'Orchestre Symphonique « Arturo Toscanini » de Parma, l'Orchestre National de Belgique, l'Orchestre Symphonique de la RTBF, het Filharmonisch Orkest van de BRTN, het Noordhollands Philharmonisch Orkest, the Kölner Kammerorchester, l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège, l'Orchestre de Chambre de Wallonie, the Folkwang Kammerorchester Essen, das Orchester »Südwestfällische Philharmonie », the Städtisches Orchester Bremerhaven, the Niedersächsisches Staatsorchester Hannover, the Collegium Academicum Genève, l'Orchestre Symphonique « Filharmonia Pomorska », l' Orchestre Symphonique de la Radio Télévision Croate...

As a soloist he has performed in major concert halls including Wigmore Hall, the Purcell Room, the BBC Concert Hall in London, the Philharmonie Hall in Berlin, the Victoria Hall in Geneva, Teatro S. Carlo in Naples, Teatro Malibran in Venice, the Palais des Beaux- Arts in Brussels, De Singel and the Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerpen, the Mozarteum Hall in Salzburg, the City Hall in Hanover among others.
